Definition Of Decor

Dcor is a buzz word that describes the process by which products are developed, deployed and maintained in various parts of an organization. Design chain management. DCOR allows users to address, manage and communicate various design-chain related practices across and among various interested parties. The process includes product development, testing, feedback, production, logistics, packaging, quality control, manufacturing, promotion, and many other processes. At the end of the day, DCOR needs to be able to provide a coordinated, inclusive approach across all of these activities that results in a product that meets or exceeds the requirements of the stakeholders.

Dcore as the Process

When organizations, businesses and vendors describe Dcor they are not talking about the same thing. Organizations sometimes refer to Dcor as the process within which a product is designed, developed, tested, rolled out and finally deployed. For the vendor it means the delivery of their product in a timely manner. DCOR for the end user means the ability to use a product that is designed and developed to specifications. A vendor may describe his Dcor approach by saying that he wants to build a system whereby the customer will always receive the best possible product available.

Relationship Of Customer Or Supplier

On the other hand, Dcor is often described as the relationship between a customer, a supplier and a manufacturer or simply a supply chain. In most cases, Dcor is used within supply chains. For example, an OEM might describe his or her overall Dcor philosophy by saying that he wants to provide customers with the best possible product at the lowest possible cost. This is often called “Dcor squared” or Dcorqs. The exact definition and usage of the term Dcor will vary from company to company.

In the case of an OEM, Dcor describes the process by which a product is designed, created and rolled out for end users. Dcor can also be used in a generic sense. For instance, when a company creates a website, a design-chain for that site is usually designed, developed and maintained by the same group responsible for developing the product. A customer service team handles support issues.

Product Development Process

Another application of Dcor is within the product development process. Dcor in product development describes a team that works on a specific project. As the project progresses, this team will add new features, fix bugs and optimize the product. Throughout the project, the Dcor will ensure that all aspects of the project are working together.

Many companies use Dcor to describe their overall approach to development. In a more generic sense, Dcor can be defined as the philosophy or approach of a company toward product development. It can also be used to define the product development team responsible for completing a specific project.
