The “Why Do Flies Land on Me?”

Why do flies land on me? I have no idea why they do it, but I don’t think it is very positive. As I mentioned before, I am allergic to most insect bites, including mosquitoes, biting flies, and ants, so I know I’m not at risk. But the fact that I am allergic to them bothers me. It’s hard to explain, but I can certainly attest to the fact that it does bother me.

My wife noticed that when I got bitten by a mosquito – the area around where it was had red spots that she thought were bites from mosquitoes. It didn’t take her long to realize that she had been stung by a fly. I’ve since asked her how she knew. Apparently, she had seen it landing on my shirt multiple times while we were hiking in the woods and she assumed it must be a mosquito, or some sort of fly.

I don’t think there are any medical conditions – that would qualify as “fly bites.” Nor do I believe that they come from insects that would qualify as a “bug.” Most people that get these bites either have an allergy or are sensitive to the bite. This is true for most animals but is especially true for humans.

Fly bites can also be a symptom of another condition – If you have a cold, the flu, or some other respiratory problem, it could cause you to have an allergic reaction. If you have a fever, it can make your skin tender. It can make you have difficulty breathing. And it can cause you to break out in hives and other symptoms.

When I walk into a room – the first thing I notice are flies. I can’t help this because they always seem to be hanging around. I use an air purifier to clear up the air, but it still seems like they’re hanging around. I’ve even used an air conditioner to keep them away, but they seem to move right back in when the humidity goes down. They just aren’t happy.

If you have a problem with dander – an allergic reaction, or are sensitive to the bite, finding out the “why do flies land on me” can help you. You can find products that will help, such as Biore Bait. These types of products will give you relief and will eventually make you feel better.
